ACCOUNTS PAYABLEAccounts payable clerks process invoices for the dealership and make payments by the due date, as well as review and resolve any invoicing issues. Accounts payable clerks should have strong mathematics, customer service and organizational skills. Prior accounts payable experience is preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, or the equivalent, is expected and familiarity with additional accounting software programs is valued.

Job duties include:
- Processing accounts payable invoices and payment requests, and issuing reimbursement checks.
- Reviewing invoices/payment requests for policy adherence.
- Matching checks to invoices/payment requests after each check run cycle.
- Maintaining the petty cash system.
- Entering invoices; entering, posting and reconciling batches; researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors.
- Processing timecards and posting payroll, if applicable.

The accounts payable clerks should have the highest ethical standards.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLEAccounts receivable clerks process payments to customers' accounts and take appropriate action on overdue payments. Accounts receivable clerks also maintain records and deposits. Accounts receivable clerks should have strong financial and organizational skills. Prior accounts receivable experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, or the equivalent, is expected. Familiarity with additional software programs is valued.

Job duties for accounts receivable clerks include:
- Receiving all payments and receipts on a daily basis from the service and parts department, recording every transaction.
- Processing credit card charges daily and preparing cash deposits.
- Working with customers to reconcile any accounts and working with collection agencies, if necessary, to obtain overdue payments.
- Approving credit applications by performing background checks and updating customer account information.
- Preparing monthly statements and invoices.

The accounts receivable clerks should have the highest ethical standards.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTThe administrative assistant assists the general manager by performing routine clerical and administrative functions, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and phone skills and uphold the highest ethical standards.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICEIdeal applicant should have knowledge of and be able to keep accurate records of dealerships business. Applicant will report directly to the Business/Office Manager. The applicant must be detail-oriented and trustworthy. The ability to work with all department managers to ensure accurate flow of information is essential.

College/Junior College degree including college-level accounting preferred is preferred but not necessary, dependent on experience level. Minimum two years dealership experience in all phases of the dealership operations and specifically dealership accounting is desired. Computer skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, are essential. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner.
BUSINESS MANAGERThe ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining thorough, accurate, and up-to-date dealership accounting records. The Business Manager reports directly to the Dealer Principal and is responsible for monitoring the financial data and business practices and makes recommendations. The ability to work with all department managers and to ensure accurate flow of information is encouraged.

College/Junior College degree, including college-level accounting is preferred but not necessary, dependent on experience level. A minimum five years dealership experience in all phases of the dealership operations is preferred. Computer skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, are essential. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner.
CASHIERThe Cashier is responsible for the receipting of cash, checks and credit cards for the Service Department. You will also handle all rental reservations and filling out all rental contracts. Considerable customer contact will be required of this position. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Good customer handling skills, neat appearance, attention to detail, friendly attitude and good communication skills are essential.
DESK MANAGERIdeal candidate will have a customer-focused attitude to all potential buyers, current and previous customers. Applicant should have a thorough understanding of sales techniques and on structuring deals. College degree is preferred though not necessary dependent on experience level.

At least five to seven years automotive selling experience, some management experience (e.g., sales close specialist, finance and insurance manager). Applicant should also be able to motivate and train salespeople in sales techniques and proper desking of deals. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Proficiency with computers is preferred.
DETAILERResponsible for cleaning new and used vehicles. Assist Sales Department in maintaining a clean lot area. Remove any trash or debris in the lot area. Must hold a good driving record and obey all traffic regulations when driving company or customers’ vehicles.
DMV/TITLE CLERKThe title and tag clerk processes new and used vehicle sales transactions, verifies information for the accounting department and prepares legal transfer documents for the state department of motor vehicles. Previous DMV and or title experience is highly desired. Candidates should possess the highest ethical standards and a good attention to detail.
F & I CONSULTANTIdeal candidate requires the ability to handle Finance and Insurance transactions with customers, lenders, manufacturer and the dealership. College degree is preferred, including some business courses/communications courses, but not necessary, dependent on experience level. At least two years’ experience as Sales Consultant in automotive market required. Some banking/finance background would be helpful but not required. Strong ability to follow lender’s guidelines and structure deals to guidelines is required. Professionalism and attention to detail are essential. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, factory representatives and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Proficiency with computers is preferred.
FINANCE SECRETARY – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTCandidate will assist the Finance Department in the administrative duties, filing, answering phones, and general clerical duties. Candidates should be self-motivated, self-disciplined and have a high ability to accurately handle and process paperwork. Excellent communication skills and friendly attitude are essential.
FLEETTo ensure customer-focused treatment for all potential buyers, current and previous customers by understanding and applying product knowledge, sales techniques, and Sales and Service Standards; and identifying potential fleet customers in his/her market. At least three to five years experience in new and/or used auto sales, leasing and finance/business manager. Candidates should be self-motivated, self-disciplined and have an ability to accurately handle and process paperwork. Excellent communication skills and friendly attitude are essential.
GENERAL APPLICATION
GENERAL MANAGERThe ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing a dealership with demonstrably improving profits and customer satisfaction. GENERAL SALES MANAGERIdeal candidate will oversee new and used vehicle sales with an emphasis on providing a customer-focused attitude to all potential buyers, current and previous customers. Applicant should have a thorough understanding of sales techniques and developing results oriented teams. College degree is preferred though not necessary dependent on experience level. Applicant will report directly to the Dealer Principal and will be accountable for departmental profits, sales and CSI.

At least five to seven years’ automotive management experience (e.g., sales manager, finance and insurance manager); experience in ordering vehicles and vehicle allocations is preferred. Excellent relations with the factory are required. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Proficiency with DCS and PC computers is required.
INTERNET SALESThe Internet sales specialist manages the online sales conducted through a dealership's website. Internet sales specialists will work solely with Internet leads, and may be asked to assist customers in the showroom. Candidate will be responsible for responding to Internet sales leads in a timely fashion and answering questions on available stock and product performance. Candidate should be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills to help keep track of all sales leads and to keep the website data up-to-date. Candidates should be self-motivated, self-disciplined and have a high ability to accurately handle and process paperwork. Excellent communication skills and friendly attitude are essential.
NEW AND /OR USED VEHICLE SALES MANAGERIdeal candidate will have a customer-focused attitude to all potential buyers, current and previous customers. NEW AND USED SALES CONSULTANTActs as a principal contact between the New and Used Vehicle Sales Department and the new/used vehicle customer. Primary goals are to provide customer satisfaction and maximize dealership sales of new and used vehicles. Friendly attitude and good communication skills are essential. Must hold a good driving record and obey all traffic regulations when driving company vehicles.
PARTS COUNTER PERSONApplicant should be team oriented, have solid oral and written communication skills, demonstrate good judgment and be organized. Ideal applicant will be able to assist service Technicians in determining parts requirements, recommend related parts that are needed, determine the correct part numbers and “pick” parts that are in stock post parts repair order via computer. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Ideal candidate will have manufacturer’s Parts Department experience. Proficiency with computers is preferred.
PARTS DRIVERApplicant will pick up and deliver parts for the dealership. Drivers also check invoices to ensure that the parts ordered were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer. The delivery driver must account for cash on COD orders and maintain an accurate, detailed delivery log. Parts drivers need to be capable of lifting and moving up to 60 lbs. Strong time management skills and good communication skills are preferred. Drivers also must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
PARTS MANAGERIdeal candidate will have five or more years experience as a Parts Manager in an automobile dealership. Applicant will be responsible for ensuring adequate control of parts and accessories inventory and sales with an interest in maintaining the highest level of customer and employee satisfaction. College degree is preferred though not necessary dependent on experience level.

The Parts Manager reports directly to the Dealer Principal and will be responsible for departmental profits, off-the-shelf fill rates, expense control, and managing employees. Strong communications skills and teamwork are required. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, factory representatives and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Proficiency with computers is required.
PAYROLL CLERKCandidate will compile and post employee time and payroll data for the dealership. Compute employees' time worked, productivity, and commissions, post wages and deductions, and process paychecks. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical to this position. Previous Payroll and knowledge of dealership accounting systems are highly desired.
RECEPTIONISTThe receptionist/telephone operator greets customers when they come into the dealership's showroom, answers their questions and directs them to the appropriate staff member. The receptionist also answers all incoming calls, takes messages and transfers callers to the appropriate department. Candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and work well with others.
SERVICE ADVISORServe as the first line of contact between the customer and dealership during the service process. Perform write-up of repair order. Serve as the communications link between the customer and the Service Department on the status of the vehicle repair. The job encompasses the proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, meeting determined service sales objectives and the thorough and accurate performance of designated administrative activities. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, and consumers in a professional and courteous manner. Attention to detail and computer skills are essential.
SERVICE MANAGERIdeal candidate will have five or more years experience as a Service Manager in an automobile dealership. Applicant will be responsible for ensuring adequate control of service department scheduling and loading with a strong emphasis in customer and employee satisfaction. College degree is preferred though not necessary, dependent on experience level. The Service Manager reports directly to the Dealer Principal and will be responsible for departmental profits, CSI, expense control, and managing employees. Strong communications skills and teamwork are required. Position requires the ability to work with other employees, managers, factory representatives and consumers in a professional and courteous manner.
SERVICE PORTERReports to the Service Manager. Responsibilities include: Tag cars by number when customers arrive for service. Visually inspect vehicles and report damage to management. Park vehicles in designated parking. Keep lanes of traffic open by removing vehicle(s) parked incorrectly. Assist Service Department in maintaining a clean lot area. Remove any trash or debris in the lot area. Must hold a good driving record and obey all traffic regulations when driving company or customers’ vehicles.
TECHNICIANDiagnose and repair vehicles brought to the dealership for service. Diagnose vehicle problems in a timely and efficient manner. Use appropriate diagnostic equipment efficiently. Call for assistance (e.g., from Shop Foreman, Technical Hotline) amid difficult diagnostic problems. Computer skills are preferred. Enroll in current technology training. Certification is preferred. Must hold a good driving record and obey all traffic regulations when driving company or customers’ vehicles.
